Further, body couriers on commercial aircraft and mailed parcels are the routes of transportation for black tar heroin, which is smuggled from Mexico.
In Hawaii, in 2007, the DEA and state and local authorities did not report any meth lab incidents. However, there were 6,990 treatment admissions for drug/alcohol treatment; in 2006, there were 6,518 treatment admissions; and in 2005, there were 6,809 treatment admissions.
